Become a Wholesale Buyer

Register your business to unlock wholesale pricing, priority quotations and a dedicated account manager. It takes two minutes.

Why register with FMCG Depot?

Registration opens a trade account, not a shopping basket. It records which categories you buy, which market you sell into and how you order, so the first offer is priced against stock we can genuinely allocate.

  • Access competitive, volume-based wholesale pricing
  • Priority 24-hour quotations on your product lists
  • A dedicated account manager for orders & logistics
  • Early access to new brands and seasonal stock
  • Flexible payment terms for established buyers
  • Full export documentation handled for you

An account is not locked to the categories you tick today. Most buyers open with one range and add other lines to load with your account as orders consolidate: sauces filling the back of a confectionery container, household lines behind a skincare order.

The whole catalogue is available — beverages for a container mixed with your account's core lines, our skincare & beauty portfolio for pharmacy and parapharmacy channels, plus coffee, snacks, confectionery, sauces, groceries, personal care, household and baby care. Quantities run from case to pallet to full container load.

Delivery terms are agreed per order, not fixed to the account. We quote EXW, FOB, CIF and DAP, and the routing behind how we ship your account sits on the logistics page; Antwerp and Rotterdam are our standard loading ports.

Before sending commercial details it is reasonable to know who you are trading with: our company page explains how we buy your account's goods — EU-sourced stock in original manufacturer packaging, over a decade of trading, buyers in 60+ countries.

Trade buyers only. Registration is intended for retailers, wholesalers, importers, distributors and food-service businesses. Personal/consumer orders are not accepted.

Not sure what to enter? Complete what you know and describe the rest in the requirements box. The FAQ answers most pre-order queries on your account, and our sourcing guide covers how sourcing decisions apply to your account.

After you submit

What happens after you submit the registration form

Registration is a commercial conversation with a paper trail, not a sign-up.

Your business is verified as a trade buyer

We check that the company named buys for resale or professional use and that the destination market fits the categories requested. Nothing is priced before that is settled — which is why the form asks for a business email and a country.

Your categories are matched against live allocation

Your ranges are compared with what is actually available to us. Where a brand or variant cannot be allocated we say so and propose the nearest equivalent, rather than quoting stock we cannot commit.

A written offer is issued against that allocation

The quotation covers the goods offered, pack format, order structure, Incoterm and loading port. Case content, pallet configuration, gross weight and price are confirmed against the allocation offered.

The account is opened for repeat ordering

Once a first order completes, your details, market and terms stay on file. Later enquiries skip verification and go straight to allocation.

The details that turn a registration into a priced offer

Only the starred fields are compulsory, but five details close the gap between a submission and a firm number.

Brand, variant and pack format

Name the variant, not only the brand. A brand family normally spans several pack formats, and format decides the case, the pallet and therefore the freight. Cans and PET are different offers; so are a retail multipack and a single-serve tray. Where you are flexible, say so.

The unit you actually buy in

Tell us whether you buy by case, by pallet, by mixed pallet or by full container load. A range, or "one container to start, then monthly", is enough to price against. Case content, pallet configuration and gross weight are confirmed on the pro-forma against the allocation offered.

Destination market and delivery term

Destination moves a price as much as volume does. It determines which Incoterm makes sense, the routing, the duty treatment on arrival and the documents that travel with the goods. A buyer collecting EXW from Belgium and one taking DAP inland buy identical goods on very different terms.

Label, language and market-fit requirements

Some markets require particular label languages, ingredient declarations or an importer address on pack. Tell us at registration and we check it against stock before quoting, not after the goods are booked. Label mismatch is the commonest cause of a delayed first shipment.

Order frequency and repeat intent

A one-off pallet and a standing programme are priced differently because they are supplied differently. Predictable offtake lets us plan allocation around your account.

Who a wholesale account is for — and who it is not for

FMCG Depot sells business to business, for resale or professional use, and registrations are filtered on that basis.

Businesses we open accounts for

  • Importers and trading companies buying for onward distribution
  • Distributors building mixed containers across categories
  • Wholesalers and cash-and-carry operators restocking fast movers
  • Supermarket, convenience and forecourt chains buying centrally
  • Pharmacy and parapharmacy wholesalers sourcing dermocosmetic ranges
  • Food-service, hospitality and catering supply businesses
  • Duty-free, marine and border-trade operators with the right permissions

Registrations we cannot accept

  • Private individuals and household consumers — there is no retail channel behind this account
  • Buyers whose market has labelling requirements the available stock does not meet
  • Requests to describe us as an official or appointed distributor of a brand; we supply genuine brand-owner stock in original manufacturer packaging and say exactly that
  • Lines we do not carry and cannot obtain through our established trade channels

If your business sits between those lists — a marketplace seller, a tender buyer, an e-commerce operator with warehousing — register anyway and describe the model. Better decided by a person than by a form.

Documentation issued against a registered account

Paperwork is where most first import relationships go wrong, so it is worth stating what travels with a consignment.

Every shipment leaves with a commercial invoice and packing list matching the goods loaded, a bill of lading or air waybill according to the mode of transport, and the certificates the destination requires for clearance. Where the goods qualify we issue a EUR.1 movement certificate — and it is worth knowing precisely what that certifies. EUR.1 evidences EU preferential origin, which follows the place of manufacture, not the nationality of the brand owner: a familiar European brand manufactured outside the EU does not acquire EU preferential origin. Where preferential origin does not apply we supply a Certificate of Origin and full export documentation instead, and you are told which applies before you confirm rather than after your broker asks.

Batch and best-before data is checked against the goods allocated, and the pallet structure quoted is the structure loaded.

Registration questions we are asked most often

Do I have to register before I can request a price?

No. You can send an enquiry without registering and still receive a quotation within 24 hours. Registering means the verification stage is already complete, so later enquiries start at the allocation stage.

What is the minimum I have to order once registered?

There is no single figure: it depends on the brand, the pack format and the destination. Smaller buyers are usually served by a mixed pallet, larger buyers by full container loads. The quantity applying to your lines is confirmed in writing on the pro-forma against the allocation offered.

Can I register if I have never imported from the EU before?

Yes — a first-time importer is an ordinary customer for us. Say so on the form. We will quote on a delivery term that puts the freight and customs burden where you can carry it, and tell you which documents your clearing agent needs from us.

Does registering commit me to anything?

Nothing. Registration creates a profile and a point of contact. An order exists only once a pro-forma invoice has been issued and accepted in writing.

Who will handle my account?

A named account manager on the trade desk, Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 18:00 CET — someone who can see what is allocatable, which is why answers about availability are firm.

Send the form and we will do the checking

Register once; every enquiry after it begins at the allocation stage.
