Personal Care Wholesale & Export — Oral Care and Shaving
Wholesale personal-care products — Colgate oral care and Gillette shaving ranges for retail and distribution.
Where an oral care and shaving order usually starts
This listing is two shelves rather than one general category, and most enquiries name one of them first. Shaving is the higher-value half, so buyers who lead on it start at our Gillette wholesale page for systems, cartridges, disposables and the wet-shave preparations that sell beside them. Oral care is the higher-rotation half, and buyers who open there almost always add Colgate to the same load for toothpaste, brushes, mouthwash and whitening lines. The two travel together for a practical reason as much as a commercial one: blades are small, light and valuable, toothpaste is dense and cheap, and a container carrying both reaches its weight and its volume at roughly the same time. One enquiry covers both, quoted as a single shipment on one set of documents.

View detailsToothpaste in bulk: the line that anchors the shelf
Toothpaste is the most predictable line we ship. It is bought weekly by households in almost every market, it rarely goes out of listing, and demand is far less sensitive to promotion than confectionery or snacks. That makes it the base of a personal care order rather than an addition to one. Commercially the decisions are tube size and variant family: large economy tubes carry general trade and cash-and-carry, mid-size tubes carry supermarket shelves, and small or travel sizes serve hotel amenity and forecourt accounts. Variant families — everyday family lines, herbal and charcoal variants, whitening, sensitive and children's ranges — are ranged differently market to market, so tell us the split your accounts sell and the offer follows it instead of a default catalogue.
Toothbrushes, mouthwash and interdental lines
Around the toothpaste block sit three lines with different physical behaviour. Manual toothbrushes are light, bulky and blister-packed, which means they consume container volume out of all proportion to their value and are best used to top off a load rather than to build one. Mouthwash is the opposite: liquid, heavy, packed in bottles that need to ride low on a pallet, and the line most likely to push an order over a weight limit. Interdental brushes, floss and picks are small, high-margin and easy to under-order. A complete oral shelf needs all three, but the ratios that work for a supermarket buyer and for a cash-and-carry operator are not the same.
Razors, blade cartridges and disposables
Shaving splits into three ordering decisions. Handle-and-cartridge systems are sold as a razor plus a refill programme, and the refills are where the repeat revenue sits — ranging the handle without securing cartridge supply is the most common mistake on a first order. Loose cartridge packs are the highest value-density line in this whole category and are handled accordingly on our side, with sealed cases and controlled picking. Disposable razors are the volume and value-entry format, the one that carries general trade and open markets, and they ship in light, bulky cases. Which of the three dominates your order depends entirely on the income profile of the market you are serving, not on what is newest.
Shaving gels, foams and post-shave preparations
Preparations are the attachment sale that makes a shaving fixture work: gels, creams and foams before the shave, balms and lotions after it. They are also the part of the load with the most handling detail. Aerosol formats travel under their own handling and declaration rules, so tell us at enquiry whether your order includes them and the booking and paperwork are set up for it from the start rather than corrected at the port. Non-aerosol gels and tubes carry no such constraint and are the simpler option for buyers consolidating small quantities into a groupage shipment.
Reorder rate, not novelty, is the commercial case
Nothing in this category is bought because it is exciting. Toothpaste, brushes, blades and shaving preparations are replenishment goods with short, regular household cycles, which is why they hold shelf space through a downturn and why distributors use them to stabilise a route that otherwise runs on seasonal and promotional lines. For an importer that has two consequences worth planning around: the forecast is more reliable than in almost any other FMCG category, so a recurring programme is easier to size accurately than a one-off; and a stock-out costs more than it does elsewhere, because the customer simply buys another brand that week and may not come back next week.
Pack variants, languages and destination fit
Both shelves are sold in market-specific pack variants, and the differences are more than cosmetic. Toothpaste variants, claims wording and ingredient declarations are regulated differently by destination, and some markets require registration or a specific responsible-party statement before a consignment clears. Blade packaging differs in count and in the security format the retailer expects, since high-value cartridges are merchandised behind the counter or in locked units in many markets and in open display in others. Pack language — English, French, Arabic, Russian — is a separate listing rather than a variant, so confirm what your customs authority and your retailer expect before the order is fixed rather than after arrival.
Regional demand across the two shelves
Demand patterns are stable and worth planning to. West and Central Africa pull large-format toothpaste and disposable razors in volume, with cartridge systems concentrated in urban modern trade. Gulf markets carry the full range including premium cartridge systems and the preparation lines that go with them. Southeast Asian buyers weight toward small and mid-size toothpaste and value shaving formats. Eastern European and CIS distributors buy close to the European assortment across both shelves. Buyers extending beyond these two shelves often add a face and body tier to the same booking — our CeraVe wholesale page is the usual starting point for that, and why the personal care range is worth sourcing in Europe explains what buyers check when they specify EU stock.
Value density against weight density in one load
This is the category where load planning is genuinely commercial rather than administrative. Cartridge cases are small, light and worth more per pallet than anything else we ship, so they are picked, sealed and documented under tighter control and are rarely used to fill space. Toothpaste and mouthwash are dense and cheap and will hit a container's weight limit long before its volume. Brushes and disposables are the opposite again: bulky, light, and the natural way to use up remaining cube. A load built from all four reaches a sensible payload without leaving space or weight on the table, which is why mixed pallets across both shelves are the normal shape of an order here. Case configuration, pallet build, gross weight and remaining shelf life on loading are confirmed on the pro-forma against the allocation offered, and what buyers ask about the personal care range covers the questions that come up most often before a first order.
Documentation, routing and how the stock is sourced
Every consignment is genuine brand-owner stock in original manufacturer packaging, with artwork, batch coding and ingredient or specification declarations intact, and nothing is repacked by us. Shipments move EXW, FOB, CIF or DAP through Antwerp and Rotterdam, each with a commercial invoice and packing list. EUR.1 movement certificates are issued where the goods qualify for EU preferential origin; where they do not, a Certificate of Origin and full export documentation are supplied instead, since preferential origin follows where the goods were manufactured rather than where the brand comes from. The logistics overview sets out routing, groupage and part-load options in detail, and trade accounts are opened through wholesale registration.
What a personal care quotation depends on
We publish no price list, because the number depends on the order. It moves on the split between the high-value shaving lines and the high-rotation oral care lines; on the volume committed and whether the order stands alone or forms part of a recurring programme; on the Incoterm chosen, which decides how much inland, port and freight cost sits inside the figure; on the destination's duty and preferential-origin treatment; on pack language and any registration the destination requires; and on the dating you accept. Send the reference list and the destination port and all of it comes back answered in writing against real availability.
Categories that ship well beside oral care and shaving
Personal care consolidates well, and most buyers here place it alongside something else on the same booking — our skincare & beauty listings for importers cover the face and body tier that sells from the adjacent fixture in the same store. For loads that need weight rather than value, household & cleaning available by the pallet is the usual counterweight to a light shaving pallet.
