Few biscuits are recognised in as many markets as Oreo, and few are produced in as many places. The pack a buyer receives in Lagos, Dubai or Santiago may have come from any one of several production regions, and that single fact sits behind most of the questions importers put to us about this line. We export it from Belgium as part of the confectionery we ship worldwide, and this page is built around the question a multi-origin brand forces every trade buyer to ask first: which Oreo you actually receive.
Which Oreo you actually receive
Oreo is manufactured in numerous countries. Between those origins the pack weights, artwork, ingredient declarations, language sets and even the eating profile can differ, and destination buyers are rarely indifferent about which one lands. A retail listing built around one origin's artwork does not automatically accept another's. For an importer, that turns provenance from a compliance footnote into a commercial variable worth settling before the first order rather than after it.
Our stock is EU-sourced and supplied in original manufacturer packaging, with the producer's own artwork, ingredient declaration, batch coding and date coding intact. Nothing is repacked, relabelled or overstickered by us. In practice that means European artwork and European language sets, which is decisive for buyers listing into markets that expect them — and equally worth knowing if your market expects something else, because then this is the wrong stock for you and we would rather say so at enquiry stage. If your destination requires additional labelling at import, tell us with the enquiry and we will confirm in writing what the available consignment carries before you commit. Batch codes on the cartons trace back through our paperwork to the consignment they arrived in, so the claim is checkable at your own warehouse rather than something you have to take on trust.
The format ladder, from single roll to multipack
The range runs from the classic rolls in their smaller and larger weights, through Oreo Thins for the premium impulse tier, into flavoured editions, mini formats and the family multipacks that carry the grocery shop. Each rung answers a different channel. Singles and small rolls work at the till, on forecourts and in cinema and kiosk trade where the decision is made in seconds. Mid-weight rolls carry the weekly shop. Multipacks and family formats are basket builders for supermarket and discount channels, and minis suit foodservice, catering and mixed assortment displays. Deciding the ratio between those rungs is the real ranging work — a fixture that is all multipack loses the impulse shopper, and one that is all singles never grows basket value.
Exact pack weights, case configurations and pallet builds are confirmed in writing on the pro-forma against the allocation offered at the time of order, because what we can actually load in a given week is a more useful number than a published one that may not match the run. Oreo also appears as a co-branded component in other manufacturers' ranges, most visibly in tablet chocolate; buyers who want those co-branded tablet SKUs rather than the biscuit itself should price Milka by the pallet, where the tablet range is listed. This page covers the sandwich biscuit range only.
Ordering by case, pallet and full container
We fill single-case orders for cash-and-carry and independent accounts and scale to pallet and full container load volumes for importers running continuous replenishment. Buyers splitting an impulse budget usually weigh the biscuit fixture against a panned chocolate sharing line at the same time, and ask us to price M&M's by the pallet alongside so a single container carries both halves of the treat aisle on one set of documents.
- Rolls, Oreo Thins, mini and multipack formats
- Case, pallet and full container load (FCL) quantities
- EU-sourced stock in original manufacturer packaging
- EUR.1 movement certificates and Certificates of Origin
- EXW, FOB, CIF and DAP Incoterms
- Palletised, shrink-wrapped and batch-coded for traceability
Crush damage, not heat, is the transit risk
The chocolate lines in this category are a temperature conversation. Oreo is not. It travels in a standard dry container on routes where a bar would need temperature control, which is a straightforward cost advantage. What replaces the heat question is mechanical: a roll is a stacked column of biscuits in a flexible wrapper, and it is damaged by load pressure, not by warmth. Deformed rolls and crushed corners are the complaint that actually arrives.
The controls are dull and they work. Pallets are built to a stable layer pattern with no carton overhang, shrink-wrapped, and stacked so that dense goods sit low and biscuit cartons carry no top load they were not designed for. Groupage moves deserve more thought than full loads, because an LCL consignment is broken down and re-stacked by hands that cannot see what is inside your cartons. Tell us the discharge port, whether the load is FCL or groupage, and how you break it down at the far end, and we will plan the pallet build around that rather than around what is quickest to assemble here.
Shelf-life headroom and clearance timing
Ambient biscuits carry generous declared life against a typical sailing, which gives importers real planning slack — more than the chilled and frozen lines in the same category. The number that decides your clearance, though, is remaining life on arrival, not remaining life at loading, and the threshold is set by your destination authority and your retail customers, not by us. Say what yours is when you enquire, and load date, sailing schedule and dating are planned against it and confirmed on the pro-forma before dispatch.
Export handled end to end from Antwerp and Rotterdam
We are a Belgium-based wholesale distributor and exporter with over a decade of trading behind us, serving buyers in more than 60 countries. Goods move EXW, FOB, CIF or DAP through Antwerp and Rotterdam, with commercial invoice, packing list, and EUR.1 movement certificates or Certificates of Origin issued where your entry requires them. Importers assembling a sweet-biscuit and spread aisle in one go frequently add Nutella by the pallet to the same enquiry, since the two sit adjacent on most fixtures and share a buyer.
Adding density to a biscuit container
Biscuits are bulky for their weight, so a container of Oreo alone will cube out long before it weighs out. Most buyers use the remaining payload for denser or complementary ambient stock — salty snacks are the usual pairing, and the Cheetos export listing covers what we hold there. Mixed loads are quoted as one shipment, on one set of documents, under one Incoterm.
Before you fix your biscuit ranging
Sandwich biscuits are trading against sharing formats and premium thin ranges in a way that has changed several fixtures over the past two years. If you are setting facings for the year rather than reordering what you ran last time, the 2026 trend picture around Oreo and the wider sweet category is worth reading before you fix the plan.

View detailsWhat we confirm before an Oreo order ships
An order is fixed on a written pro-forma covering origin, formats, quantities, dating, price and Incoterm, and nothing is loaded against a figure that has not been agreed there first. Case, pallet and full container load quantities are all available, and pallet builds and case configurations are stated against the allocation we can actually supply that week. Documentation follows the goods: commercial invoice, packing list, and EUR.1 or Certificate of Origin where your entry requires them. If this would be your first shipment with us, what buyers ask about Oreo and about quantities, documents and payment terms is answered in full before you need to ask twice.
